Why are you so worried about the comps? I hate to tell you how many times I used to sit at a BJ table and lose $20 waiting for that "free" drink I ordered that came waaay late. Now if I hit a losing streak I just leave. Learn the rules and house percentages on various games and play the ones that that have the lowest house hold and you enjoy playing the most. Why do you want to plan on losing $1000 or more just so you can get 3 nites free at $30 per nite casino rate??? On my trips to Vegas I rarely get any comps, play for hours every day and am almost always plus or minus $200 gambling for the trip. Play the right games, play sensibly and let any comps you get be an added benefit.
