Yes, I did a very similar tour last year. There was a story I wrote published in the Club Magazine shortly thereafter. Essentially, the trip was from Reno to Tahoe to Carson City to Ely To Elko To Reno. That of course is the condensed version. Imagine all of the small casino towns along the way. The trip was a week, and I loved every single minute of it. But then again,...you can't go by me. I LOVE small town Nevada.

Anyway, getting back on to the topic, the issues relating to Stockman's closing were last fall. I also heard there was another new casino going in just down the road from Elko. I believe it was supposed to be open by the beginning of summer.
