You're right about it taking a lot of time Alan. I bought my scanner in 1992, and it needs a SCSI interface. My 1999 laptop doesn't have one (nor did my 1997 or 1995 laptops), so I have to use my 1992 desktop to do the scan, copy it to a floppy, then do the editing and uploading to my website from my laptop. This is all before an item is ever listed on eBay, which also takes more time.

I'd buy a scanner with a parallel port interface to cut a few steps out of the process, but can't find one with as high of a resolution available (2560 x 2560) as the almost eight year old scanner that I have.

...if anyone knows of a SCSI interface for a Toshiba laptop that doen't cost as much as the laptop did, please let me know!
