I just got back from my annual trip to Las Vegas that I've taken the past many years with my old (we're all 50) high school friends. The past five or six years, we've spent a day out of our trip at the Mandalay Bay Sports Book. Located right next to the Sports Book, is the poker room. So, while they were playing the ponies, I was playing $3-$6. I won enough to pay for my entry ($60) into an evening NL Hold'Em tourney (3 tables each with ten players). Starting with $500 in chips, I was down to $135 after about 45 minutes. An hour & a half after that, I was collecting my half ($525) of the 1st & 2nd place chop. We were almost exactly even in chip count & the spread between first & second place money was $300...so we agreed on the chop as suggested by the dealer. What a kick !!! Poor Brian Watts...he was the first one that had to hear my story -- at 10:30 at night!! See you soon, Jim. Bedo
