Lance, I have a feeling the light one is just a faded chip.
I have seen chips from the Yorkshire Club in Newport, Ky. that run from pink to deep red. I busted some light ones open some time ago and even the pale chip had strong color on the inside. I also was hoping a had a new chip. The one I posted here is one of the pinkest I've seen, but I'm not going to bust it open.
