If such a club existed (and I seriously doubt it) I too as a former S.Dak. person would really like to have a chip from there. Lead was as you know where the Homestake mine was located. However, the city isolated itself from the evils of the world--gambling and a certain other sin by providing for that kind of conduct in Deadwood (just down the "hill.") In the 1960's I was told that Lead had no gambling of any kind. That may have been in error but I got the info when I was an Ass't U. S. Attorney from several law enforcement sources. Deadwood had a red light district that was wiped out in the big fire of the '50's and had illegal gambling throughout the town including the best hotel (The Gold Room) and several of the fraternal organizations including the Elks.

So, Luke, if you do find such chips and can buy them let me know if one more remains.
