Let it be known on this date the CC>CC
suggested that the CC>CC woods used to promote the
CC>CC at the Florida United Numistmatists
Convention (FUN), who has extended the courtesy for
many years in allowing the CC>CC a table on the
bourse, at a reduced charge of $100 (normal costs
are from six to ten times this amount), suggested
that the Floridian Chapter pay for the woods. In a
letter sent to Mark Lighterman from Richard Allard,
I quote in context:

Hi Mark,

I received your artwork for the wooden dollars, but
unfortunately the club decided not to do the FUN
woods any longer.
I think the problem is that they are getting
requests from some of the other chapters to do the
same. So they are recommending that the chapters do
their own thing. I have enclosed the order form
from the wooden nickle company if you should want to
order them. End

The table being provided by FUN is for the CC>CC,
and not the Floridian Chapter of the CC>CC. I do
not understand why the CC>CC would expect the
Floridian Chapter to pay for these woods. The
Floridian Chapter has nothing to do with FUN, except
for being in the same state.

As Vice-President of the Floridian Chapter, and the
person who hosts the CC>CC table, I would like to
suggest that the club reconsider to continue
ordering and pay for these woods and not suggest to
pass it off to the Floridian Chapter who has no
connection with FUN, whatsoever.

I am also requesting from the ANA that they allow
the CC>CC a table at the ANA Spring Convention,
and ask that our club think about woods for that
show, also.
