Ah yes, the "joys" of moving! Darrell and I agreed to take a company transfer 2 years ago from Colorado to S. Utah. We were told it would happen in about 6 months- wrong! 2 WEEKS later we were told to go. What a nightmare! The only thing that kept me from "losing it" was I went onto the web and looked up the local S. Utah newspaper. I could then research housing vs. rentals and what jobs were available in the area. This also had us lined up with a realtor before we got here, who also recommended a well priced local hotel that would let us keep our small dog while we went house hunting. Some of the secretaries at Darrell's new office also helped alot with locations of houses (where NOT to buy) and what food, furniture etc. cost here. Saved my sanity! I do know that she'll find good, cheap produce and beef (it's all grown/raised there). Good luck!
