Apparently, EBAY has a rule forbidding dealers to offer a duplicate of an item sold on EBAY to a backup bidder for the same price as paid by the high bidder. See my earlier post.

I have attended many auctions and a number of them will offer duplicate items for the same price.

I understand the requirement that you play by EBAY's rules if you use them but it seems like a pretty petty rule.
