If you're planning on attending the Convention in Las Vegas in August and you haven't already volunteered to help out, I urge you to consider it. It's a great way to meet fellow chippers and give something back to the club. Most of the volunteer positions don't require a lot of physical (or mental) work, just folks willing to be there to meet, greet and maybe hand out stuff. The shifts are normally not very long, so you'll still have more than enough time to see the dealer's tables and attend educational sessions.

I guarantee that if you volunteer once, you won't regret it, will have lots of fun, and will be eager to volunteer again next year.
