John, None of these chips were made by Boreland, Bud Jones, or Christy Jones.
They were all made in Maine at the Burt Co. The rights to the Nevada mold was owned by BJ. They sold the rights to Boreland.
Jerry W tells me he has the actual dies for the mold at this time. Not sure how this came about. If true ( and I have no reason to doubt it), Boreland could have taken the mold to another chip manfacturer such as Gamblers General Store or TR King and had chips made. I have no reason to believe this happened, but it is possible.
BTW, Boreland called molds - MOULDS, in his book. First time I ever seen it spelled that way.
