As to your post.... I think where the thread to John Mass' original post got misdirected, was as a result of his posting several questions. Some of the respondents picked out which points they would like to address and ignored the others. I particularly was attracted to John's first two questions and his last. I've taken the liberty of editing his post just to those three questions for the purpose of making my point.

I think one could reasonably make a case that while the words "Limiting memership" was not mentioned in John's post.... the implication was there that it wouldn't be a terrible thing if club membership stayed at the current level. Hey John.... did I get it right??
