Don't mention pools to me. My oldest daughter moved last year into a new house with a pool. Her father in law told them to use a certain pool guy to replace the liner and that the cost was about $2000. He had been using the same guy for 20 years. They saved up $3000 to cover extras and told the guy to go ahead. he hands them a bill for $6000 and then they discover that the pool piping leaks and will cost another $5000 to repair. Talk about a money pit.
