Tracy left weaver in too long. He was running out of gas. He had a lefty warming up in the pen, but stayed with Weaver to pitch to a left handed batter. Sure Weaver had a no hitter thru 7 innings, but when he runs out of gas, you need a quick hook. He gets lit up quickly.
