Thinking of Cleveland area? From Las Vegas? Cleveland gets literally buried in snow because it is right on the lake. You get lake effect snowfall even when a weather front isn't over Cleveland. I live in southern Ohio [Dayton] and we usually get one or two good snowfalls a winter. But Cleveland is another whole story. Taxes aren't quite as high as Las Vegas, but we are getting there. Personally, I lived in Las Vegas in the late 70's and moved back here, but I wish I had stayed out there. I grew up in Dayton, but I love Vegas and the mountains. My two cents worth.
