The Crystal Bay Club, Nevada Club/Nevada Lodge, Sahara Tahoe, etc. tokens in 1965 were made in copper just like the US pennies.

Brass tokens were made in 1965, 1966, and only one $1 token in 1968 (Stockmens - Elko) and the $2.50 Reno Horseshoe Club. Most were made by the Franklin Mint.
