Chips are from the Chesterfield Club, an illegal joint in Detroit. Chips were issued in 1936 (unless there were reorders). The "CC" was also used in Nevada (Nevada Club?)
There are a bunch of these chips out there -- one to two boxes of each, more of the CC, I would think.
As illegal crest any seals, they would be considered common. $10 to $15 each. Maybe more on a good day. I have a good number of each. I think Mike Spinetti has a very large number of each.
Although common, they are a fine example of crest and seals. Reeded edge crest and seals cost extra and are, therefore, rarer. I find it interesting that the 5 (and CC) does not have a reeded edge while the others do. Can't quite figure that one out.
