My chips either smell like newly manufactured chips or else like table grunge (God knows what that is comprised of!) I have none with a perfume smell. I know one of the first places to artificially utilize your olfactory sences was EPCOT center at Disney World on the dinosaur attraction they used musty scents coupled with humidifiers to duplicate the aromas of the areas.
