Currently open in Cripple Creek: Double Eagle, Black Diamond, Colorado Grand, Johnny Nolan's, Creeker's, Imperial, Virgin Mule, Uncle Sam's, Buffalo Billy's (really an extension of Bronco Billy's), Bronco Billy's, Gold Digger's (really and extension of the Gold Dust), Gold Dust, Palace, Womack's, JP McGills, Midnight Rose, and the Brass Ass (really an extension of the Midnight Rose).

The casinos that made the moves to separately license and name their extensions did so to avoid higher taxes on their revenues. There is a scale based on how much a casino takes in. The more it makes, the higher percentage in taxes it pays to the state. Those rates were eased this year because the state of Colorado has had to issue refunds of budget surpluses for the last two years.
