I agree with you,L.E.'s are what got me into chip collecting, and they are one of the reasons I'm still here, the other reason is the great people I have met, and the others I know by name and conversation, that I'm looking forward to meeting in the future.
I think the Nevada Landing and Gold Strike chips are neat.Each of us has our own idea to whats nice and whats not.
I also agree that the casinos are putting out to many chips purely motivated on greed, and I believe it will catch up with them some day.
As far as the Fiesta is concerned, if all the casinos put out as few chips as the Fiesta does I would be able to get all the new issues as they came out. As it is now, I have to buy what I really like and pass on the rest, because I can't afford all of them.
I try to buy a couple of extras when I buy new LE's, to put on ebay in hopes of offsetting the cost of my collection. Lately that doesn't work anymore. To many people trying to sell them, and to many people offering them at face. I now have way to many duplicate chips, and will end up taking some of them back to the casinos and cashing them in.
