I will relay to you the way the incident went down. It was at Bill's Gaming Times Show. A dealer who will remain nameless had the chip for sale and was telling everyone it was from the Plaza downtown Las Vegas.

Armin and I started to laugh and explained to the dealer the chip was NOT from the Las Vegas Union Plaza or Plaza. Armin mentioned that he believed the chip was from Puerto Rico. I told him I heard it was from Cuba.

It really didn't make any difference to me at the time. I didn't question Armin on why he felt it was Puerto Rico. Since I only collect Nevada - my main interest was whether it was or was not a Nevada chip.

A few months later this chip was discussed on the Prodigy BBS. I posted a note involving Borland chips. Armin answered and reminded me how he told THAT dealer about the Plaza chip - and the dealer was still selling it as Las Vegas.

I'm afraid that's all I can tell you. I could explain why I believe it is not Las Vegas but where it belongs - I do not know.
