I agree wholeheartedly with your comments, and particularly about the LV Tropicana. To see C & C (Cutler and company) put out 13 different $5.00 showgirl chips, plus 13 different $25.00 showgirl chips, is ridiculous!! And, they make only 100 each of the $25's, assuring that only a limited few people can get them.
Many of us living right in LasVegas cannot even make it to the casino in time to get one.
My only wish is that the LV collectors would IGNORE those chips, allow them to lie in the cage, but of course that will never happen. I for one will do just that; to hell with the Tropicana! (and to think our club will support that place by having our next convention there; yuck! )

The Nevada list also shows gouging of collectors to soon be happening at the Westward Ho Casino. They will have a set of three $5.00 millenium chips. Not satisfied with profits from those, the Westward Ho will also have three $25.00 milleniums. Still not satisfied with profits, the Westward Ho will also have three $100.00 milleniums!!! I know a few people who do not regularly collect $100. chips, but who have goals to have every LasVegas millenium chip. So, just for the Westward Ho alone, they will spend $ 390.00 for 9 millenium chips!! The Edgewater in Laughlin will have $5.00, $25.00, and $100.00 milleniums too. Another rip off of the collectors!
