I had the same thing occur, Bob. I look at it as a matter of courtesy, not copyright law. Not much different than providing a pic of one of your collectibles for a book to be published. I would also give permission for most any use of one of my scans but would want to know of it in advance. If nothing else, I delete my older images from the server when I need space for new ones and would hold the old one if I knew it were being used on another auction.
