Robert, would you mind if I steal that image. That has got to be the best example of what happens to roulette harvesters.
Lance, she doesn't have to steal anything. Chips are chips, are checks are fine. If you meant Roulettes, she just needs to be not so obvious like picking up a stack and walking away. with them in her hands.
Many times I've had no problem slipping a couple into my pocket. Think of the thrill and excitment, wondering if security will come up to you and say "Do you have a roulette chip in your pocket?"
I just say, yes, I'm a chip collector and they say "Sorry you must give it back." or "OK but don't do it again."
Some tables don't have even stacks, so it's a sign that they really don't care and couldn't tell if they tried.
In other words, it's no big deal, and they won't "back room" you for pocketing a chip and being honest about it.
However as Roberts picture shows, don't reach for someone elses biscuits, while the girl is changing the light bulb (whatever she's supposed to be doing up on the table?) or try past posting or the pit Boss will get mean.
