Rich,
As most know, Park Place was created when Hilton spun off the gaming division into a seperate company. Park Place is "renting" the Hilton name for a period of three years. The Flamingo has already removed the Hilton name in many places. All the new apparel in the logo store has no Hilton, the players cards also have dropped the Hilton name, note pads in the rooms are Park Place, room keys have no Hilton, desk clerks/bellmen having new uniforms for The Flamingo. The chip surprises me to a degree, but the the time frame for approval from Gaming and production, these chips could have been ordered months ago. Which I suspect is the case, but will find out. I understand that there could well be a new rack after Jan 1 w/o the Hilton name. We'll see.
Mike
PS Any guesses on the new name for the LV Hilton? Guess you can't call it The Big Hilton much longer!<G>
