experiencing increases for the past two years in the 24-28% range. Condos and townhouses have been considerably higher as they were once more affordable and people like the low maintenance factor. Even though there is talk of a "bubble burst" we haven't seen signs of it yet. A factor that will cause a slowdown is the fact that fewer and fewer first time buyers can afford a median priced home. It will be interesting to see how this market plays out over the long term.
