Hi John,
A chip transaction does not lend itself to reciprocal treatment. The seller cannot, because of the nature of the transaction, EVER look to a buyer for compensation if the chip should increase in value. To do so would give a seller the best of ALL worlds including the profit on the initial transaction insured by any future increase.<g> I would love to be in that position involving any sale transaction.
The only reason why I would propose my earlier position is for a degree of insurance against seller fraud. I'm sure John a 30 or 60 day window would never present an obstacle to a reputable dealer whos business is built upon honesty and repeat business. I am not advocating an unacceptable length of time just a short period to give a buyer a degree of comfort.<vbg> The seller already has a degree of comfort - the money!!! Take care - Best, Jim
