Bottom line: you wouldnt have bought the plate with 50.00 shipping.

The seller qoted a price of 16.00 shipping.

You made your bids based on the selling proce and the quoted shipping.

You're entitled to the plate at the closing auction price plus the quoted shipping charge.

After you get the plate and see for yourself what the shipping charge is, you can decide if you want to give the seller a gift of additional money. It would be a gift, not an obligation.

Again, remember... you would have never bouyght the plate at that price.
