Binion's Horseshoe was not noted for hot stamp chips. They purchased hot stamp chips in low denominations such as 25 cent but not higher denominations. Benny loved his picture on chips hence you seem him on the 25 cent, 50 cent,& $1.00 chip on up. It doesn't matter what mold, hoseshoe, arrow-die, or H&C. The early hot stamps were Joe Brown Horseshoe chips and were replaced with Benny's picture when he returned from the pen.
