I checked the Norweigian Book of Knowledge(It isn't a very big book.)

Apparently these people that now live in Nigeria lived in Norway. That was until those darn Finn's got uppity with us and so they took their marbles and went somewhere else.

Maybe we all should have went. Probably don't have to endure lutefisk in Nigeria wherever it might be. Probably warmer too.
