Told a friend I'd post this. Bill Elliott as Red Ryder from 1944. Lots of interesting things going on in this image. Guess that's Elliott showing down his hand there in the center...he's got three cards at this point with the dreaded eight of hearts on top. Black pips! And he's wearing gloves. Everyone else left in the hand has already shown their three cards. Um, we've got currency in the pot but everyone has stacks in front of them, looks like a combination of silver and white chips, maybe ivory? The dealer has a deck of Bicycle cards, circa-? Next to the Stanley stainless thermos on the table is some sort of chip box, possibly C.T. Rogers' first catalogue item. The guy leaning on the chip box has the same shirt as two other fellas in the picture. Looks like we got potential for a shoot-out in the parking lot after the game. I like it!
