Then there were NO undefeated teams! Alan Borenstein's Rams tried to make a comeback, but, came up a field goal short. Below are the 4 Chippers left who can win the first half of the contest (20 Chips). The second place finisher (9 Chips) in the Contest will either come out of this group or could be John Yee's Redskins (who will be MY Redskins after next week) since they could end up 6-2 & have scored more points (242) than any other team in the league.
Alan Borenstein - Saint Louis Rams (238)
Mike Richter - Jacksonville Jaguars (180)
Bob Ginsburg - Miami Dolphins (169)
Jim Gaito - Tennessee Titans (166)
The numbers you see next to the teams are the total number of points scored by that team which is the first tie-breaker. If the Rams win against Detroit next week then Alan would be a winner unless the Jaguars were to score 59 points plus whatever the Rams score next week. Things get interesting if the Rams lose.........Since Miami & the Titans play each other you can count one of them out of the running. That would leave the winner of that game & the Jaguars if they win against the Falcons tied for 1st as far as records go.
Next week will be the start of the second half of the contest. I posted the 2nd half draw last week. For those of you who missed it I have included it below. Keep in mind that the second half of the season as far as the contest goes does not start until your team's 9th game. If you have any questions about that then click on the link below that will take you to ALL the information you need about how all the NFL teams are doing! Lastly......lets have a BIG hand for Neal Silverman who had his Cleveland Browns win their first game of the season............I'll bet he is glad to be rid of them.
