I happened to just scan this chip tonight to enter into my database I purchased from Terry. Anyway here is the story that goes with it:
This is the first chip I ever bought. The year was 1997 or 98. Previously I had taken LEs off the tables in Vegas. I was in an antique center and saw this chip. I didn't know anything about it except that the asking price was 5 dollars and it looked old. I figured it has to always be worth face value and I bought it. I was researching this chip on line when I found the chipboard and the rest is history.
To answer your question you did nothing wrong. As much as it's buyer beware the seller should research what they are selling. Barry
