MTR's initial upgrades will focus primarily on Binion's casino, though other changes are in store. At the request of longtime customers, a once-popular hamburger grill will reopen near Binion's table games. In addition, Szepelak said, MTR will "spruce up" Binion's signature steakhouse, whose stunning views and gourmet menu were once considered key elements to one of the city's finest restaurants.

For lunch the little grill behind the sports book had super food.

One of my favorite things to do while swinging through downtown at night was stop for a steak at Binion's. What was it? $2.98 and included a baked potatoe and a salad. (never cared about the million bucks on the wall)

It's not FSE but the place was special and had a way of bringing back the days of the old casinos, before the mega resorts blew into town.

I might add that Binion's parking lot, right off the freeway and close to the casino's back door, was a great place to park. Validation, I need Validation!
