Dulce is not on the way to anywhere, and not close to anything. It's about
60 miles or so east of Farmington NM. I can understand why the casino didn't do to well there.
The new casino will be about 50 miles south of Dulce, and about 50 miles east of Farmington.
But at least it is on the major road connecting Farmington (and the NM Four Corners Area) to Albuquerque.
The casino tent was up, but the area was still under construction. I don't recall seeing any signs about the opening. Depending on how much more
they had to do (I think it was also going to be a rest area) it could be open now. I'll ask a couple of friends that go through the the area to keep me posted.
