Though a lawyer, I have much more ignorance of the law than knowledge and after coming across an offer for a clearly described "fantasy" million dollar bill, I wonder whether it nonetheless violates the United States Code. I know I could look it up but I'm lazy and there are a number of you out there that know the law on "reproducing" U.S. Currency. Since there isn't any million dollar U.S. bill, I suspect that this is not illegal. Anyone know for sure. In addition, I don't like the fact that on Casino chips that this kind of auction can be carried out since it clutters the board--but maybe I'm just getting as old and crotchty as Bob Ginsberg <g>. Please keep in mind that I am not suggesting any fraud--just wondering about legality.
