Hi Doug (Travis Too!)
Igler's was called a casino but it was not a casino defined in the way we think. In the early days, when I was young,<g> I can remember the word casino being attached too many Chicago joints. One that comes to mind is the French Casino at 641 N. Clark Street in Chicago. It was a "girlie" place advertising a Parisienne Revue but had no gaming. I believe using the word "casino" to designate a place of fun and entertainment rather than an establishment of gaming is what IS intended for Igler's. Here is a match book I have previously posted. Hope this helps - Jim
