The Indian casinos here in Washington have Pseudo-slot machines which print a bar coded script which can be used on other machines without going to a cage for cash, as is required in California. Works well. They must have a special cebtral computer as Larry mentioned. However, any amount can be put on the ticket and it doesn't look like money (so Uncle Sam has no problems and we collectors won't be tempted to start collecting them).
