Don: Wow, it amazes me how the chip "grapevine" allows chip news to get around.. Yep, I did have the Luxor $2000. millenium chip, but for a very
short time. A collector (who I'd rather not name) sent me the money to pick
one up for him. I didn't even like the idea of walking out of the casino with that kind of chip in my pocket. I should have scanned it, but all I was thinking was to get it packaged and into the mail to him!!
It is a blue Bud Jones chip, slightly oversized, LTD 100. The interesting side story to this is that when I went to the cage to buy it, two tellers there got all excited about it, telling all the other employees that she was selling one of them, and told me it was the first one they had sold.
If they were to eventually destroy all the remainder of that chip, the collector who bought it could truly own a one-of-a-kind chip.
