absoluetly nothing. But if the chip says "ltd." and a number, they wouldnt ever do it. Once they put on there how many chips they've issued, they'd be in some serious trouble if they sissued the same chip with the same number. That would be fraudulent.

The Sheryl Crow, and others didnt have the release number on the chip, they they could do it with no problem.
