I concure with what Mike has posted. The casinos on the north end of Tahoe at Crystal Bay are a favorite of mine for that old-timey feel. If you're a car-nut, you'll find a lot of Bill Harrah's cars at The National Automobile Museum at 10 S. Lake St. very near the downtown casinos. Have a good time and put up a trip report when you get back!
