Although it has been a couple of years since I have been there, I have stayed at Circus Circus and El Dorado. Both were pretty nice. Because those 2 and Silver Legacy are all linked together, it made for one big casino.

Although there are several casinos within walking distance on Virginia street and some side streets,
we always rent a car. We love to go to the small towns in the area (Verdi, Sparks, Carson City, and Virginia City). Plus there are others like Fernley and Lake Tahoe and Stateline. All are within easy driving distance.

I'm sure there are other things to do in Reno, but we never had time due to visitng all of the surrounding towns and casinos.
