Do you know anybody with a Numismatic News? There's a pull out that comes with it once a month (its called Coin Market). It has all the current prices of coins in it. Red Books are nice (if you want to fantasy about what you think your coins are worth). Red Books are nice to collect in my opinion but...not for actually pricing the Coins. My Opinion.

In my 30+ years as a collector I would tell you to go to a respectable dealer for what they are worth. If you look at the Red Book or even the Coin Market and think your going to get that (you won't). I've been there with this stuff, twice I unloaded junk coins, Mint and Proofs Sets I didn't want and both times I left with money in hand but not what I paid for them from the US Mint.
