I would think clay chips required more work, but the ceramics (Chipco & BG) and the injected molded (Bud Jones & BG) shouldn't.

If Chipco can sell home chips for less than $0.85/each, surely with the volume they sell to casinos, the price can be brought down somewhat without counting the cost for extra security features for the casino chips.
