On James has listed a 12 1/2 cent Club Bingo Chip.

I wanted to jump in with my two cents on this chip.

First I agree with you whole heartedly James about this chip being much rarer then a R-4....as it took me 3 years to track one down. The once I did, there were many others wanting it. After a small bidding war, I became its proud owner.

Second, how often do you see a 12 1/2 cent chip? I believe that TCR lists only 2-3 ever using this denomination.

Third, we know for a fact from the TR King records that only 200 where made. I have the interview at home where I spoke with a person familiar with these chips. It was explained to me that this chip was short lived do to the trouble paying off the 1/2 cent. The 12 1/2 chips were pulled. Only those that had them pryor got into circulation.

I know of a handful of you that own this chip. IMO there are less then 15 out there...if that.
