I don't think this post will make me popular with whoever attributed the scanned chip to Saratoga Springs NY.
But here goes anyhow:
Today I found the closing rack from the Arrowhead in Branch Hill, Oh 1937. It is in Ft Walton, Fl. Sam Nason gave the chips to his younger sister for her husband to use. He was a poker player. Her son (Sam's nephew, 60 years old) called me today.
He also has letters from Sam to his mother. I will see the letters at the Biloxi show. He also thinks he has pictures from the AH. We'll see.
He has boxes of the diamond mold INN in an <> arrowhhead chips. 3 colors.
He said his Mother always refered to the club as The Arrowhead INN and so did Uncle Sam. He has 3 colors but no green. I have only seen red and green so this will be 2 additional colors. Sam and Harold Nason played poker with these chips at their sister's house as late as 1960.
I am meeting him at the Blast From The past.
Fellow KY chipper Dave Horn always thought these chips were from the Ohio club. I now agree.
Jimbo is right, there probably will be an Arrowhead part 5.
