Jim Pierre,
Are you saying you do not buy items made in China?
Do you make your own clothes perhaps?
Just because a book is sold in a book store has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with anyone else selling a book. Do you think only one type of outlet can sell a book?
The last book was sold in Borders, Barnes and Noble, and through Amazon. As well as Gamblers General Store and Gamblers Book Clubs in Las Vegas. Charles as well as several dealers sold our book and still do. He sold 100's actually and so did the stores in Vegas.
My plan is to expand the outlets and reach others that do not yet collect. Is it wrong to make a book readily available to the general public?
Where the publishing company that produces our book prints it, is way beyond our control. I can tell you the finished product is beyond most collectibles books and priced very reasonable at $29.95. If it were printed here in the US it could be another disaster like the binding on the first issue and the price now might be $50. With a selling price that steep for a book on collectibles many that would buy a book at $30 or less would pass at $50.
Please see www.schifferbooks.com
for the huge assortment of books they sell!
