How many are collecting Deadwood?
I love Deadwood. Its the most peaceful place in those ever so beautiful Black Hills. And the weather is mostly nice compared to areas around since they are in a banana belt. Thats what I read on the internet so must be true! I still don't understand what that is! I bet Mark Englebretson will tell us though! I can imagine a Banana Belt but doubt my thinking is correct. We plan to meet up there sometime this year. Perhaps May. I would like to know how many are collecting and might want to have a chip get together hang out up there?
Its never been the most popular place to collect from due to not as many going there as CO. due to a much smaller population base within a days drive. As Colorado, Deadwood too has some nice older chips. I have nearly all of them now!
IF you have rare ones I still need some.
I have an extra Phatty Thompsons I plan to ebay soon. I feel its about as rare as Capone's.
We also did a great job I must say updating this section of our next price guide. I must admit Steve Wells did all the work on this and Colorado as well as the riverboats. I just added the pictures and did the proofing and debated a few values.
