Julie asked for an explanation ...

... of what certain language means, Justin:

>> Does the following say cost of postage? I am interested
>> in what the following definition means
to some of you.
>> Here is an example of what is on ebay when you list a flat shipping fee.
>> Shipping costs US $2.00 - Standard Flat Rate Shipping Service

The response she got (20 & counting) ...

>> What you are asking for is permission to cheat ebay out of their fee
>> (regardless of how you feel about it) and possibly deceive potential buyers.
>> Does that "sound" like the right thing to do?

... was a typically (and unnecessarily) personal attack. If eBay allows "handling" or "shipping" fees to be charged without an eBay fee (which it apparently does), I don't see how a $2.00 "flat rate shipping service" would be cheating eBay. And if it is stated upfront in the eBay ad, I don't see how it could possibly "deceive potential buyers".

I have never done business with Julie, but would have no hesitation doing so in the future, without fear that I was going to be "cheated" or "deceived".
