I have heard that sending matches through the mail was a No-No.

I guess since 9/11 they might seem to be a threat, and the nitrates must be detectable to "bomb-sniffing" equipment.

I don't really collect matches, but I do have a mess of them to trade for slot cards or chips. How can I do this legally and prudently?
